"Mojave" was created during a long drive from LA to a cabin in the Inyo National Forest. During the trip, I stared out the window listening to music watching the Sierra Nevada mountains protrude from the ground and pierce the sky in all their glory. I also saw occasional abandoned structures that were sitting in a sort of calming isolation. As the sun began to set across the wastes, I experimented with a guitar pluck sound and a nice LFO & slow attack pad to create the perfect summarization of the experience.
