For many of the supernatural, extranatural and generally unusual residents of Felton, it's not terribly easy to hide their less-than-human nature. Vampires have the limitations of sunlight and other weaknesses, Werewolves frequently have to disappear for the duration of a full moon or longer, and many of the other beings simply don't fit into the mold of humanity.
George, however, is different. His unusual trait is exclusively internal, but in a very fundamental and somewhat disturbing fashion: He is, for all intents and purposes, a braindead living body that has had the entirety of the brain replaced by an extra-dimensional, parasitic insect.
It's something of a long story, but George was a college student at the University of Alabama when a sudden, unpredictable outbreak of what are commonly called Insects from Shaggai resulted in a number of deaths, and the intervention of S.3.R.A operatives to control the media and the insects themselves.
Initially, it was assumed that all of the insects had been collected or repelled to their own dimension, but a larval insect had actually managed to remain hidden inside of the cranium of a host body. Over time, the semi-phased insect manifested fully, consuming George's brain matter, but also wedding itself to his mind, memories and personality. In the end, they became a composite being, with a mind divided between George's original memories and personality, and the somewhat disconnected, alien intellect of the Insect from Shaggai.
Some side benefits to this unusual union have been enhanced endurance, speed and strength, as well as sharpened reflexes and enhanced intelligence, at something of a loss to his social faculties. He can sometimes seem mildly autistic, and has difficulty latching onto social cues. Luckily, his partner, Chad, is better at catching onto those cues than George is.
Unluckily, Chad is a baseball bat-wielding, semi-maniacal idiot of a monster hunter and self-appointed hedge wizard. Needless to say, George has his hands full keeping his boyfriend out of trouble long enough for them to just relax and try to live a mostly normal life. Thankfully, the pair are both on the fast track to becoming S.3.R.A. assets.

Magic-Ray, of one of my mate's characters and a part of the Feltonverse. He's an odd one - but hey, who in the world or Feltonverse isn't? Info written up by my partner in life and creativity,
JosephH.
