"It's good to be out of the city," Rygone would muse to himself. "Take some time to appreciate the little things."

Since moving into the city for work, the eeveelution had been having a hard time enjoying the walks that he had grown to expect growing up. The city was not quite the same, there were hard sidewalks everywhere, people everywhere, and nature bound to small parks and trees choking in the concrete.

As a shiny leafeon, he had found it all more and more unbearable to live in. He needed to stretch out, feel the wind on his fur, and soak in the unfiltered sun.

So he had planned a trip. Just for a few hours. Take some time to walk among nature the way that he needed to.

At first, it had been unfamiliar for him. Trapped as he had been in glass and steel, he had almost forgotten what to do with himself once presented with the opportunity for exploration. But, eventually, his paws began to carry him forward.

The dirt felt good underneath his pads and soon he reached out to feel the caress of leaves and grasses against his palm. Dewdrops would run up his fingers only to fall as his motions carried him elsewhere.

Above, the morning sun beamed down at him with a soft reddish glow as it woke up for the day. Rygone could already feel his own leaves shaking excitedly as they prepared to embrace the sunbeams that kept him energized and healthy.

Allowing his feet to carry him to untold parts, he breathed happily of the fresh air around him.

It was okay to just let his instincts guide him to where ever they wanted to go along the simple path. He had a couple of hours left before he had to head back to his claustrophobic home.

Might as well enjoy it as much as he could. Until next time.
