Looks like changing the past affect the future, that's what happen when you stop the meteor that was supposed to extinct the dinosaurs to collide to earth billions of years ago.
Now after going back to the Future you notice that the dinos grew into a civilization while humans never were able to even existe, your only hope is to go back in time again and change it back... but looks like your plan is cut short when one of the giant dinos decided to make you a quick little snack.
A fan comic I did from the cartoon Back to the Future Episode 3 - Forward to the Past, there's a specific scene where this almost happens "too bad it was to short interaction there" But I was glad to know about this~

I was surprised, since this Back to the future cartoon show never passed here in my country, I found out through a imagine someone posted on twitter and then someone commented about it and since I was curious I went to search to watch that episode, and I was glad to watch it~
Too bad they didn't explore more about the whole alternative dino future world, but those where some nice few interactions~

Ah, the show was very limited I think, by the era. Heck, there were TWO robocop cartoons in the same timeframe, and of course, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, one of those shows too ridiculous not to be real!
Anyway, I enjoyed Back to the Future the series, it was a fun way to play with the tech they had, and while it was formulaic, with two kids, one a brat, one a stick in the mud, it found some nice scenarios to make up for it.
