“Oof!” Jack the Buizel yelped, rattled by the fwump. “Oop…You okay, kid?” Tidus the Charizard asked in a worried state. “I’m sorry about that!”

“D-d-don’t worry, I’m o-o-okay!…That l-landing was pretty r-rough, t-though…” Jack replied meekly in response shaking off from the landing the two just had. He then carefully crawled up above Tidus’s wings and placed his legs on Tidus’s shoulders and Tidus grabbed Jack’s ankles holding him piggy-back style.

“Agh…gotta stick that landing better…not used to having a passenger with me in the air…” Tidus grumbled, dissatisfied. “I’m not sure if that would even help with your amnesia either…it still feels like it’s my fault…” Tidus thought darkly. “It’s okay, Tidus, you did great!” Jack said, supporting him. Tidus was dragged out of his dark thoughts, and chuckled and sighed. “I’ll do better next time, kid.” He then looked around making sure he knew where he was. “Anyway!” Tidus sounded more upbeat changing his mood, “Welcome to Sunset beach! You got your turquoise clear ocean water, clean white sands, and nothing but tropical wilderness spread for miles across the island!” Tidus pointed things out of the various landscapes of the place with his right fingered claw. Jack was in awe of the entire place by ‘oohing and ahhhing’ with a big grin on his face. Tidus then frowned. “Well…technically, we’re here in the early morning, so I guess we could call it Sunrise Beach for now, huh?” Tidus joked.

Jack giggled happily. “Hehehe that’s really silly, Tidus!” Tidus chuckled at how easy Jack was amazed and entertained by the simple things. “Hehheh, yeah? Well the best part is, we haven’t reached our destination yet, and it’s not even noon!”

Jack’s face then frowned. “Wha?…You mean this is not where we are going…?” Jack asked confused tilting his head. Tidus chuckled a little more, “Heh, nope, not exactly! We’re going to meet my pals Kanoa and Kai, but I decided to land here and walk the rest of the way there.” “Ohhh, okay!” Jack said, curious about what Kai and Kanoa looked like. He imagined them as strong pokèmon as Tidus, but he left that to wonder as Tidus broke his thoughts and continued speaking, “I just love walking on the sand, and that’s the best part, I could use some endurance walking. Gotta keep myself in shape!” The Charizard started walking to the destination by turning left along the beach. “And you can see more of the island and ocean too!” Jack seemed really happy to hear this, and looked up towards the sky staying quiet with nothing but a big open grin on his face, and started asking Tidus questions along the way. The sun peaked over the island, as it slowly turned to mid-morning and shone bright from the shadows and onto Tidus and Jack’s faces. After a few minutes of walking, Tidus then asked, “What do you think of this place, kid?”

“This is the best place ever!”

“Hah, you’ve seen nothing yet!”
