I have been going for longer with the once i have made since i enjoy morphing the sound over a longer time and making them how i enjoy them.
I feel the same way, i know what modules i use and how i manipulate them and that gives a special satisfaction for me, but does other people enjoy it without knowing.

Nothing wrong with short stuff, but of course you can do both. I personally really like things that develop and evolve over a longer time. Shorter and longer things each have their points and purposes or uses, but to some extent you're never going to please everybody, so it's good to do what you really love.
