Ricken complaining to Robin to please please please devise a strategy that involves him being far away from Tharja on the battlefield so she can become "interested" in somebody else and take her dark magic elsewhere.

Recently I finished off a run through Fire Emblem Awakening that had been about half-done for a few months. I'd come up with the plans to have Ricken and Tharja get together, so that Noire would inherit Tomefaire from him, quickly upgrade to Sniper to acquire Hit +20, and then reclass to Dark Mage and then Sorceress so she could use the long-distance Mire with reliable accuracy thanks to that and the Prescience that she innately has, and Tomefaire and the Magic boost she gets from Ricken would improve its power.

It was neat. Not terribly useful, but fun. In between the last time I played Awakening and this time, I had played five other ones, and I forgot that Bolting and Meteor were not in Awakening, and I was thinking about those when I planned this Noire build. Oh well.

ANYWAY in the meantime, at least once during his support conversations with Tharja, he mentioned that he expected her to turn him into a weasel with her curses. Tough it out, Ricken! It's for the good of... a pretty neat gimmick build that isn't as universally practical as anything with Gale Force! Don't let me down.
