Welllllllll.... I'm back. :B
I don't even really know where to begin, besides I am finally back. It's been a long, long road finding some ounce of stability, and it's time I make a full return. If you lovely folks have interest in buying stones, do please be patient should you reach out with requests. I need to fully reorganize, and ~must~ handle some old issues of the past first and foremost. I'll respond to all notes and comments that I can in as timely of a manner that I can.
The anxiety has been NUTS lately, but I figured to get off my ass. As far as the room viewed.... ye. Tis 'The Office'. A place of streaming, gemstone hoarding, nerdy investment stacking, and a work station for other hobbies. :B
Will be providing more details as time goes on, and will likely cover the full story in where I've been over this span of time. It's been a hell of a rough ride, but it's time to get back into the good ole' routine.
Might hop on stream in a short bit just to relax after being an idiot and staying up all damned night, and if you wanna bug me there and perhaps take a peek at some shiny gems 'in person' and live, seek me out on Twitch under the channel JewelerFox.
Either way, tis good to be back. Admittedly I've been timid as hell lately and particularly spooked to return, but there is unfinished business I ~must~ take care of, and this place was like a home to me, in the best and worst of times. Been going through lists of folks I watch, and seeing some haven't posted since before 2020, so I wonder and worry.
Also been wanting to ask your advice and assistance on a project, but I realize I lack both the skills and fund necessary to pull off even faking it. Maybe one day? :)

Tabletop pencil and paper roleplaying games are a hobby of mine and I want to give the players an actual prop sometimes.
The key to this one adventure, that kicks it off, is finding a staff in amongst some discarded garbage. Nice walking stick sized, pretty solid piece of wood. The description in game is that it has an electrum band (I hope that is the right alloy anyway), topped with a moonstone, and about 30 additional gemstones are embedded in the wood and metalwork.
It is a 'The Magic Comes Back' game, and this staff has all the possible spells enchanted onto it, but the players have to figure that out.

Nnnnnnnnn, yes, if the question is wanting to bring such an actual thing to life in full 1:1 size with the actual materials, the major killer there already will be electrum, depending on the size of the moonstone. X3 Since electrum is an alloy that uses a considerable amount of gold...... well, gold is gold. Good luck with that. :B There are a good number of visual alternates though, at least depending on the stones. And some well painted jobs can simulate the color, but not density of the electrum band itself.
