What Lurks In The Dark? (by JinWolfWhite)

These deep, dark dungeons can easily play tricks with your mind. When you don't know what could be lurking in the darkness, every scrape on the stone could be a threat, every flickering shadow could be danger. You just have to take a few deep breaths and remind yourself that it's likely just random wildlife that moved in when the place was abandoned, thousands of years ago. Even just wind blowing pebbles across the empty halls. Still, it's times like these that I wish I had a mage around to cast some sort of light spell. This dinky little torch isn't accomplishing much, and it could go out at any moment. Maybe I should head back to the surface soon...

You know, sometimes you don't mean to. You're just out there wandering the wilderness, you see some ancient dungeon, you think "Hey I wonder where this leads", you poke your head in, you think "Maybe I'll go get a party together...after I poke around a little more", and the next thing you know you're seven levels deep and you're thinking "Okay just one more level, then I'll get a party".
