With a tremendous effort Mdogo heaves the bulky dog upward and swallows.
Gravity is your friend in most situations, but not when it's sending you sliding heavily down a badger's throat. Right now the unfortunate dog would be a lot happier in zero gee.
(Also a lot happier outside a badger's gullet, but that goes without saying.)

I feel like the only thing that could make this better would be another badger, or maybe a meerkat, standing off to the side with a mallet, plunger and/or cannon rammer waiting for Mdogo to give a hand signal that he's needed.
