try saying that three times fast!

commission for  kcravenyote and  mandakatt! kace is always fun to draw in all her iterations, and mandakatt was definitely a new experience for me. but i realized when i was coloring her fur -- the combination of the dragon and calico elements made it feel like i was coloring a mammal version of a koi fish. i don't know if that was her intention with the design, but it's REALLY clever and a lot of fun.

so here's kace and her pal mandakatt, enjoying tea, sushi, onigiri, and taiyaki (fish-shaped pastry filled with bean paste) at a kotatsu (an AWESOME heated table) on a cool autumn afternoon.
