The Babylon Rogues, specifically Jet the Hawk, Wave the Swallow and Storm the Albatross, were flying their own airship across the skies when they unknowingly passed by another airship (whose body shape resembled the Novgorod ship). Jet was manning the wheel in the cockpit, Wave was repairing the gang's extreme gears in a workshop, and Storm was just roaming throughout every hallway inside the airship, when the albatross noticed the unknown airship and a tiny bit flying out from it. Realizing what was wrong yet mistaking it for a torpedo fired, Storm ran into the cockpit and alerted Jet, who quickly changed the wheel to make their airship dodge the supposed torpedo.
However, the torpedo somehow changed direction to force itself into the airship, making an impact, shaking everything inside and shocking Storm and Jet. Still holding onto the wheel to maintain stability, Jet ordered Storm to run into an impact to investigate. And when the albatross ran into the targeted spot, he was even more shocked to discover that a supposed torpedo was no more than the big, green, mean and muscular bird wearing nothing but shoes and an ascot. The bodybuilder bird walked away from the impact and gave out an evil smile, prompting Storm to run back and report to Jet, but the said bird didn't mind letting him go, as he had a bigger idea in mind. He even let Wave run to Jet, as she emerged from the workshop and saw the big, green bird. Jet was shocked to hear what he learned from Storm, and confused at the sight of Wave blushing and struggling to run into the former.
The big, green bird was seen walking with the cyan-glowing stone on his hand until he reached into the cockpit. He introduced himself as Speedy, the Battle Lord of the Battle Bird Armada, and began bragging about how strong and numerous the Armada had become in comparison to the Babylon Rogues who were simply three thieves who lived their lives on flying hoverboards. This greatly insulted both Jet, but Wave was horrified to realize on why Speedy said something like that, and Storm was just clueless on what the said bird said. Jet rode on a nearby downed Extreme Gear and charged towards Speedy with a pair of feathered fans, but Speedy gave out a mad grin and shoved the cyan-glowing stone against Jet's chest, forcefully pushing him back into his gang, much to their shock.
Speedy commented with temptation that the three had nothing to stand against the Battle Bird Armada, and it was for the best that they would just join the Armada instead. As he turned his face away from the Rogues while remaining still, he added that Jet would be a great lieutenant with Wave and Storm on his equal sides, alongside better rewards, while making an excellent servitude under the new Battle Lord. Only Storm took time to listen to Speedy, albeit with confusion, as his comrades were just taking a closer look at the glowing stone. Eventually the stone began expanding its radioactive glow, forcing the three to undergo a painful yet pleasurable transformation, turning them into an equally big, mean and muscular trio. Speedy then turned back to the trio and gave out an evil yet prideful laugh, and declared three to be his lieutenants, now renamed 'Babylon Brutes', much to Storm's delight, but the two insisted that the new name shouldn't bar them from what they were good at: Thieving. This was something Speedy noticed, also acknowledging that none of the Armada birds were capable of practicing such field, not even in the same level of that of the trio.
Deal wise, the trio was allowed to remain using Extreme Gears as their main means of transport, but they were required to learn firearms, manning heavy weapons, and anything related to the standards imposed by the Armada. The trio was also allowed to still man their own airship but they were required to have a tracker in it in order to keep contact with the Armada. Their airship would also occasionally be used as an attacker or a flying transport for Armada soldiers, especially in a certain battle that requires more than one major force. It would also have few or several Armada soldiers to become its guards, for it could be used as a transport for prisoners of war, so that Speedy could turn them to his side, which was normally go against regular Armada standards, as not all future prisoners could be avian. That part of the deal would also go against the trio's standards, as the airship was their only home. On the bright side though, some of the assigned guards could be engineers or navigators, thus marking a beneficial potential to its maintenance and direction. And finally however, the trio was also required to teach many Armada soldiers, including Speedy, on how to ride on Extreme Gears, for the said gear could be a backup of safety just in case if they were disarmed from flying.
As Speedy had given out the last details on his new deal, the trio had a private chat among themselves regarding their decision, and then Jet smugly accepted the deal, much to Speedy's prideful joy, as the two male birds shook hands. At the last minute, clouds dissipated underneath the Babylon Rogues' airship, revealing the vast land of desert and mesas. Speedy took notice and looked down, seeing someone green running towards the camp. He smiled as he told Jet what to do.
