This thing is several years old. It was one preliminary page for one of my graphic novel ideas, the one with Rapthor and Softwind. And when Bonecrusher used to be called "Rockhead" and the character was not the tortured, brutish soul that he is now.
I felt like posting this after seeing other folks comics, and wondering why the heck everyone seems inclined to always make squarish panels. Making comics should be much more of an art than many people make them. And this is not the best example of some of the pages I used to do, where the images flowed nicely with non-squarish panels. I would post them, but they contain elements of my stories that I really would like to keep unknown, lest they ruin some of the plot if I ever (HA!) manage to find the people to get these things off the ground.
And there's three things in this page that I put just for the heck of it. One of them you folks most surely won't get -- the sauropod talks about a 2GS-816 Avatar computer. "Avatar" was a once rumored 32-bit version of the Apple IIGS (which used the 65C816 processor).

How interesting. I wonder how many more of these "drawing board" sketches you may have in your collection, that your fans have yet to see?
