Dragye ''Sand Swag'' by LaytheDiaperedWhiteWolf
I came across a piece that I created in Paint 3D some time ago, and I wanted Dragye to have his moment in the spotlight again.
It's of course less colorful than the Paint 3D one, but I think his facial expression is quite good. I wanted to stray away from the cuteness, but still retain his signature look, with his horns now being a bit larger, and his arms and legs being bigger as well -- he's a teenager now after all. Though despite being 16 years old, he secretly still adores wearing diapers. So he bought some Size 7 nappy pants and took them with him to the beach, were he finally put one on. Dragye isn't as into building sand castles as he used to be anymore, but he has developed a strong interest for water sports, specifically water skiing and surfing.

Thanx! It doesn't look as good as the 3D Paint one in my opinion, but that's to be expected from a handdrawn painting.
I thought of a sequel of some sorts to Dragye's story, and the concept worked out really well. It's the execution that's a bit difficult to pull off sometimes.

The origin for this part of the story is basically because I had a dream in which I entered a living room with a changing table, as the adult Arctic Wolf I am right now on FA, and met up with my most recent caregiver, Petra. She welcomed me and showed me two kids lying on the table, one of which was the younger version of Dragye, and the other was the little wolf Zuru (you'll probably know her from my story where she bought a package of diapers and then regressed after trying one on herself). I laid down on the table, got to try a diaper pants and then slowly started to shrink until I was barely four, almost three years old.
The next thing that happened, was Zuru's mother Mira showing up and Zuru happily cuddling her, and Mira being REALLY surprised to see ME being shrunk down to a four-year-old toddler. Even though I was way younger now, I was still a bit older than the older one of the two kids, being Dragye at three years old. Petra decided to take us to her car downstairs, put us into our respective car seats, get a stroller once we arrived at the beach, and then just let us three have some good old childish fun on a tropical shore! I decided to sleep for a bit, since that's what kids like to do sometimes. When I woke up, we had already arrived in paradise, and Dragye, Zuru and I all got to wear swim diapers, since... y'know. Regular diapers tend to get soaked and really heavy for the user when it comes into contact with liquid and absorbs it, which is the whole point of wearing a frikkin' diaper. 🤣 But for the sake of safety, I, the oldest one out of all three kids, decided to let Petra put me into some water wings just in case. Yes, Zuru and also Dragye for some reason, got water wings of their own, but it still was kind of hilarious for ME to get some. Mira, the adult wolf and mother of Zuru, decided to join our trip to the island, simply to keep an eye on her daughter, but also to get a chance to get to know Petra a bit better.
From that moment on, it was just simply me having childish fun with my two younger friends, and enjoying tropical drinks and getting to wear diapers together with them and all that been-there-done-that stuff you see so often on FurAffinity, but it was definitely an experience! 👶🌴

I would really LOVE to experience this dream in the exact way I dreamed it, shrinking down after trying on a diaper pants myself, and then enjoying a tropical vacation with Zuru and Dragye and all the rest! If we knew each other personally, I would invite you to come too! It would be SO much fun, and we'd get to know each other in the BEST way possible! 🤗
Quite adorable. I really like how you saw the original image you previously had drawn and redrew it to show he would appear given how he genuinely aged over that period of time.

It's fun to revisit places that were special to us and/or do activities that had notable significance at earlier periods of our lives. You touch well on Dragye not really being as into building sand castles as a teen as he was when he was younger, too. Recapturing those special times in our lives is often difficultwith how the world becomes far smaller as we grow older. I am glad he decided to see if he could still fit into Nappy Pants. Being in them certainly helps to get back into that state of mind before the world around him became far more complicated.

If I may share, I have a lot of places that have significant emotional attachment. Many of these have either been torn down, left in poor repair, or have become shadows of their former selves. It's odd to say, but being blind does have the benefit of not having to see those things you had loved become derelect. It still feels a tad yucky knowing such special places that wonderful times were shared are no longer what they once were, but being able to imagine what it was like over physically seeing it does help me preserve that moment in time where nothing but joy surrounded me when I could go about having such fun in a given location.

Perhaps, in the future, I will try something similar with Yosh. It could be a great way for me to use him to further mourn my loss of eyesight.

Well, as we are all capable of, total blindness can be worked around to a degree. You just learn to see through your imagination and go from there. There are also tools, like the one I am using now, which allow me to interact with folks, like yourself. :)
The only real issues come with web-sites and apps that are not friendly to the software I use to interact. FA, being sluggish to update itself, has been favorable for not advancing so much that 'Text To Speech' software becomes useless to it. :)

It really got my mind moving on just how many iterations / versions of stories I've written over the years. I am always happy when I can come across art that, like this one, makes me have that 'Eureka!' moment to further inspire me to keep on going and not let blindness own me. :)
