Honestly it's fine. As long as you stop at the werewolf crossing, let them by and don't try to hurt them, they'll usually leave you alone. If one or two DO come up to the car, don't make sudden moves, and let them sniff around. They can smell intent and if you mean them no harm they will know and move on.
