I normally wouldn't make another update so close to the last one, but thought I might as well talk about what's been going on ;;
first off, I'm really happy I got to meet up with Ash as we planned; Unfortunately though, things have been going downhill since early December. First we ran out of money to pay for food, then my bank locked up my credit card while I couldn't do anything to fix it; After that the borders lockdown between france and britain was announced, and we tried our best to get a flight back before that- Ash's work schedule got in the way though, and with her family unwilling to take me to the airport in time, we missed our shot.
Getting the required fit-to-fly PCR test was an absolute nightmare after that; With Ash broke and my card locked, we were forced to wait until her next pay which wouldn't be until january, and it was impossible to even drive me to the airport before then either since that was a 3 hours car ride and her work schedule was full for the holidays. In the end, we didn't have enough money to spend on food for christmas or new year's either, and didn't really get to celebrate ;-;
Troubles weren't over yet though, as Ash's parents decided to go back on their promise to let me stay until january because I couldn't pay for my stay anymore, and they made their mind to throw me out before the 13th. They were unwilling to do anything to help pay for the PCR test or help us to the airport either, so I ended up having to call on some relatives to ask for help, which they thankfully gave. After a lot of stress, driving, crying and a fit to fly swab stabbing me up the nose, I finally came back home yesterday!
Since those troubles seem to finally be over, I'm going to be able to start posting, though it might be a bit until I can draw properly again given that my old tablet is broken and I'm not completely used to the smaller one Ash gave me yet.
I'm also really sorry to anyone I haven't responded to, the past couple of months have been really stressful and scary, so I've been even less able to interact than I normally am. I'm going to try my best to respond to anyone I haven't yet now that things are back to normal, though!
I also hope everyone had better holidays than I, and a happy new year! Here's hoping for a better one than 2021. qwq

Year's been quite rough all around but it really seems like you two had a rocky end of the year, glad to hear you managed to crawl your way out of the mess of a year 2021 was.. hopefully with things looking the way they are things slowly get back to normal and you can both relax a little.
