Every year for the past 7 years I have been making sketches for every New Year. I made this one back on December 31, but I only got around to posting it now.
In the world of my original story, people and other creatures do not celebrate Christmas and New Year in the way it is customary on Earth. The characters (who are exiled paladins) decided to take a break from military uprisings and celebrate the holiday of Earthlings. Since one of the characters (a white-haired boy named Arthur) lived in Russia for the last few decades, he decided to introduce friends to the celebration of the new year in the best traditions of this country.
The atmosphere of a post-Soviet apartment, tangerines, Olivier salad, Soviet films, decorating the Christmas tree at the last moment, grandma's crystal set, which can only be taken out on holidays, and much more.
