Peeping Tom Tell Me What Do You See? by Luthien_Nightwolf
The third of the four images
luthien_nightwolf gave me to use in debugging and learning how to make these etchings work. This image actually failed once in the process but surprisingly it was by no fault of anyone. According to my brother--who I am currently living with--there was a power hiccup while I was at work the day this was printing.
When I got home there was a very distinct shadow that I couldn't really explain, but after stopping the print that he restarted (which I told him probably wasn't the best idea to do) I got to examine the piece a bit closer. As it turns out something had knocked the machine, and moved the piece by about an 16th of an inch, just enough to let you know something is off, but not enough to catch it right away.
So... Lesson learned... don't run prints while at work o.o
Anyway beyond that, nothing too spectacular to say about this piece; I was pretty constrained in size by the material width, so the top and bottom margins are a bit too large for my liking, but in all this was a very nice piece to work on, and I feel it came out wonderfully!
As always, many thanks to
luthien_nightwolf for letting me use her work to both showcase mine, and debug the system. I very greatly appreciate it, and if you'd like to see the original, be sure to give her gallery a look!
