As a novice artist I noticed tonight that colored pencils, combined with lead contours, can extend lines and striations of shade. Learned a lot from trial and error.

Appreciate that. It's really not easy, I feel lost more often than not. That said, it's a catharsis too, so one could say that even when failing I succeed.
