delicatessen. In fact my first commission. It's for an upcoming dnd campaign. I'm super excited and I love this drawing!
David Eriksen was born to a minor house in the kingdom of Denmar. His upbringing was standard for the time and place until his 14th year. In an effort to discredit his father who was a minor lord in a small barony, the truth of David's parentage was reveled to the court at large: David is the bastard child of an elf who visited the court on a mission of trade.
To save face, Lord Eriksen exiles David. David finds his way to his biological father in Port Hermalt. This elf did provide, but was largely absent on trading trips.
At fifteen, David apprenticed at an alchemy shop, where he was mentored by Nirbert Berenbur, a gnome that served as a father figure. At seventeen, with the recommendation of his mentor David was admitted to the Collage of Ashen. There he furthered his study of alchemy with a focus in polymorphology
In his twenty-second year, word of the death of his mother reached him. With the resurgence of emotions about his past, he set out to enact vengeance on those who wronged him. Making his way to his fathers court, he worked his way into a banquet/ball for the local gentry. There he spiked the food and drinks with various poly-morph potions. The goal was to humiliate the racist court, which he was more than successful at as unbeknownst to David, the crown prince of Denmar was a surprise guest. Then Prince Harvey Maximilian II (currently king Harvey Maximilian II) was not amused, and David fled from the kingdom.
Making his way back home, he encountered the Raven Queen Eminence, where he acquired his ear stud.
Upon his return, became business partners with Nirbert, and they run the alchemy shop together with David wandering and hunting down reagents as well as assisting at the College of Ashen. This has largely been his life since, a series of small adventures and expeditions, with nothing too major until now.
