Took a walk out on the peninsula at Indian Creek Camp before leaving. Heard noises in the woods and knew there was something there, after a while saw this guy. He decided I was not a threat and let me snap a bunch of pictures while he went about his business.

Many animals do, even animals that are angry and don't want anyone to bother them will often be alright around me. I have pictures of me when I was 12 hugging a buck by the royal gorge. These deer were used to humans and would eat their food but one kept eating from my hand and let me hug it and pet it. I also have a picture of me hand feeding a wild chipmunk. When I was little my sister and I were riding her pony and it bucked my sister off but kept on with me on just fine.
Many animals are good judges of character and have judged me to be at least alright. :)
