A friend encouraged me to try drawing some characters mummified. So I went for a character I felt comfortable that I could draw all covered-up. I know from seeing other mummified pictures that the body shape was going to be so important, so, Albert Alligator makes a great case. Also I knew enough that the wrapping needed to be not-quite-parallel, spreading out and coming together to give the body some shape. I imagine I'll draw some more; this was a fun twist.
