Well this is Simon...he came to us knocking on deaths door. As we can tell he made a full recovery. He was never very good at eating his food (that would be a mouse leg he has at the moment)

not actually quite sure...alot of times yearling just have trouble being on their own. hydrating him up and feeding usually is the best and easy fix

i did an internship this summer up in Oregon at this place called Wildlife Images. Best summer ever...only thing missing was my mate =^_^= but absence makes the heart grow stronger

My favorite part is when they finally go on whole food so i can stop making mouse/rat pate.
However I apparently make chipped up rat look pretty lol.

ooo i know right? i have a pic of some baby barn owls we had to hand feed 4 times a day down to 2 times.....just thinking about it makes my ears ring.

That lovely Skreel. We have a juvenile in ICU with a busted wing that does it when we have to move him to clean his cage or work on his wing.
