if you have to be the captains though, it limits how cool they are in the show me thinks. You can't really start saying colors to cut other people to win a fight. Game developers usually can't make that level of complexity a fun and usable game. usually.

well I can't think of what they are...but I know what they are when I'm actually working in the program...I just don't have much luck with some of the variations

well some are inimical to eachother
like bubble and sinusoidal
bubble and the julias work well
very well
so does bubble and rectangles for some reason, but you gotta have the right ratio for that

yes Rondo...I know those..its just some of the variations like curl fan and ring don't work well with me

well you gotta do the right thing with em
fan works well if you do it and duplicate it into the negative
like if you use fan:1 do a fan: -1 as well
fan is linear only it breaks up the image like a fan
curl....don't use curl too much
curl 3d however is quite useful
make it super small and displace it a little bit, and it looks cool
sometimes however, curl can end up looking like bubble, how, i don't know
but it does
ring works well with bubble as well, but alone, you shrink it and it should work
