This is Lucky. He was among 70+ rats that were left abandoned in an Idaho home. There were several glass tanks (10gal I think) filled with these guys. They were left in 90F temperatures with no food and no water. Thankfully they were rescued and new homes were found for some (maybe most) of them.

They are separated into groups of male, female and baby. Adoption fees are very reasonable. $10 per unaltered rat. $40 to get a female spayed and adopted. $35 to get a male neutered and adopted. Personally, I think the rates for spay/neuter are phenominal! Up here it costs $125 for a neuter!! Probably more for a spay.

Anyway this little guys name is Lucky. Perhaps a little cliche... but he was rescued from a bad situation and now that he is neutered, he gets to live with three gorgeous ladies! Pretty lucky if you ask me!!
