Sketch inspired by this absolutely gorgeous piece by 
noha. I fell in love with the design and wanted to see what it would look like drawn on one of my own characters (Snow, Zanny's younger twin sister). I don't think I executed it nearly as well as the original, but it's still kinda pretty. =)

Until she opens her mouth. c.c Zanny could never pull this outfit off. Her hair sticks up, and "serene" does not describe her in the least. Of the two of them, Snow is the true beauty. That's never bothered Zanny. She would have been happy to hand off the unwanted attention she got. If their positions had been reversed, things would have been so much easier for both of them.
Well... They're identical twins, but Snow has the more delicate features of the two. Then again, Zanny's generally been through a lot more than her sister, physically. She has that rough edge of experience, and the scars of her trials. Snow comes off more refined and cultured. She didn't have to be reminded to sit up straight or not talk with her mouth full, etc. c.c They're both ruthlessly practical in their own ways, but Snow works to secure her position and further her own ends, whereas Zanny doesn't generally want anything for herself.
