It's a very strong piece of work and I like what you have here. If you mess more with it, then I would suggest making sure that the tops of the stretching fingers have appropriate soft angles to show the joints. A bulge toward the pad of the foot would give it a nice touch. Also, the way the wing membrane can have a broken line where part of it are gone to make it look like it's really bonded to the body.
Otherwise, I'd totally want to see more of this touched on. Very good.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it a ton! Especially coming from you, big fan!
I'm at this stage right now where I start a project, ask myself if I can even pull it off, doodle a little ahead to see if I can, then end up losing interest somewhere along the way. I'm honestly terrified when I upload these unfinished pieces, but I figure getting feedback may encourage me to finish some. Thanks to your kind words, I now know where to start if I choose to pick up this piece again. ^^

Some of that nervousness is familiar to me too. Regardless of anything, I keep hoping what I put out will be well received because of how much effort I put into things. But, the important thing I'm teaching myself is that to be happy with more things I make and knowing that it's alright to share whatever I want people to see. I understand that this stuff can also be pretty personal, but for all anybody knows they only get to see what you feel like sharing.
The more often you can relax with this, the better. Be kind to yourself.

Wise words.
I was convinced by a friend to share some of my work. They enjoyed it and figured others would too. One of my biggest struggles is getting myself to draw, so I've adopted the mindset of "I'd rather draw something than draw nothing," because how am I ever to improve if I don't practice? I usually approach these drawings with the intent to draw something but never really fully commit to it. I still have a lot to learn and it's very insightful to see your perspective.

Everybody's gotta learn this stuff differently and when it comes to art it can be tough to do on your own. You seem to really be trying and when I saw that you invited critique I thought "Sure, I got some things I could point out". Really is just best if it helps you a little. Another pair of eyes can help a lot.
