The first picture I’ve drawn in a long time, between this uber illness I’ve had for the past 2 months and the general uni strains (lots of studies and too many social events) I have all but forgotten about getting any art done.
What re-sparked my desire to draw was after the other night where I consumed a copious amount of caffeine in order to get my criminology essay finished, only to spend the last 3 hours of dark lying in bed in a vain attempt to get some sleep, while lying there I occupied myself by thinking out a very detailed and elaborate way of tying together all my characters into a decent world/setting/story. I spent most of the next day thinking further about all this until I reached a point where I had the overwhelming urge to draw out some of the designs of their little universe. None of which I will describe here for as you can imagine, spending a whole day designing an imaginary world would take a lot of writing up to describe what’s going on. I’ll probably just add bits and pieces with each new drawing relating to all this as I go.
As for this picture, while it was fun finally drawing again, my computer froze and I lost all the insignia and details I had on the armour pieces and gun and really couldn’t will myself to doing it again...plus I’m getting surgery tomorrow and have alot of plans for today so I doubt I’ll fix it up any time soon.
While I am disappointed with the loss of decal, I must admit I am pretty proud of the weapon, and thought up enough pseudo physics to give it some fluff. Basically it operates like a standard SMG, but has a the ability to activate the accelerator partial drive (god I love stringing together words like that, if anyone here studies science I am deeply sorry) which coats a bullet in a gauss fluid substance, (the red glowy stuff) then, the power core (thing the back of gun) powers up, the bullet is shot out at a such a speed that the outer core of the bullet is converted to energy...basically with the intent that while you can only use this thing once every half hour (otherwise you risk overheating and exploding), a shot assisted by the APD can be fired over massive distance and can rend through just about any armour type...again I suck at physics and didn’t do any research on this and so all this stuff is blasphemy to any serious physicists
As always any suggestions about art...or anything is deeply appreciated.
And wish me luck on tomorrows surgery, there’s a chance I could die...or lose my voice)
