Okay, this idea has been trying to get out of my head for quite some time, and it's been at the forefront of my mind so constantly from inspiration that it has actually been interfering with me writing a fiction piece for a trade. Hopefully with this written and out it'll relieve some of that "Write me now!" sensation I've been having. I swear, my muse loves toying with me.
Anyway, this is a lab report detailing the Bio-engineering labs most recent accomplishment, codenamed "Retriever Unit", designed to capture, detain, and transport wanted individuals. This new bio-organic unit captures targets through painless assimilation and can revert assimilated targets back to normal at will without pain or physical/mental harm, making excellent support units for law enforcement, along with other potential applications as detailed in the report.
These kinds of "creature features" and "character profiles" may become recurring writings around here, so feel free to tell me what you think of this opening piece. What worked, what didn't, what sounds good, and what sounds flat. I appreciate all feedback, so long as it is given with respect (AKA "This is crap", while perhaps accurate from the right perspective, is not respectful). I'm not looking for pats on the back (though it is nice to know when I do something right), but your honest opinions.
