Well! I wanted to draw these characters for some time now. Due to how my mind works, this scene had vaguely crossed my mind a few times in the past. But let's just say that at a certain point in the game I got a bit of, eh... "inspiration" to finally getting to do it. Not going to say where this exactly comes from... but if you know, you know ;>

i knew this would inspire at least someone when i went through this part of the story lol. If only ffxiv had post-tf personality defining traits like the hair you did here. <3 Y'shtola. I always hoped in my wildest fantasies that she would maybe be afflicted with some race regression spell and turn into an cat / anthro cat, or at least a Mithra form XD
Ok, i don't played that game, so now i am curious about what scene inspired you.
I still remember Final Fantasy IV, i finished that game some years ago. The beginning of the game, where the main character is sad and regent because him and his squad attacked the innocent village of Mysidia because his King made that order? Tragic. The part where you need to travel to Mysidia and if you dare to talk with the people, them recognize you and transform you into a toad or a pig? Hilarious.
