I commissioned this from the wonderful artist Neonni! Link Below!
Bob's Burgers, Central Park, and The Great North. One of the many things in my life I have dubbed "The Holy Trinity." I got heavy into Bob's Burgers in college, starting at the newest episode at the time, and watching the entire series backwards.
I love Bob's Burgers, but I'm not a fan of the cast. Louise and Bob are ok, but the rest are a real cringe fest. Then Central Park arrived. I fell in love with that show as well, with the strong opening that is "Central to My Heart." I enjoy the characters in Central Park a fair bit more than Bob's Burgers. The over arching story is also a cool new twist.
And then The Great North arrived. No songs, no overarching plot, at least nothing substantial at this point in time. But, I think it's just as strong a show as the other ones in the animation "group." Something I really like about all three are the dynamics the siblings have. They all help each other out in leu of using conflicts to drive the story. There have been some, sure, but they always make up in the end.
I wouldn't say that Judy is my favorite character out of the "trilogy" or even out of The Great North, but she's adorable, and I just had to give her the TF treatment.
The night before, while on the roof with Alanis Morissette, Judy was talking about wanting a new change in her life, a twist from the monotony of life. Unfortunately for her, a shooting star was overhead at the time. She went to sleep feeling fine, but slowly during the night, she changed. She's just awoken and hasn't noticed that her wish is coming true! How will she react when she realizes it? o.O
