After quite awhile, and a few small design tweaks, I can present a piece that shows the entire Balker family. Decided to get the piece done of them at a much later date in their lives, when the pups are all grown up and the original couple are definitely not getting any younger. At the time this photo would have been taken, the pups are starting to hit their 20s, with Kelso and Jessica going through their 50s. Oh, and their pet Husky Molly, just a normal dog.

On the left side are my characters, going from left to right:
Julius - the only son, gaining the magic from his father, using said magic to develop magi-tech in his spare time. Epic gamer and enjoyer of the internet, unfortunately probably a redditor.

Clarice - the shortest of the family and the only one who didn't inherit any powers, makes up for this by using guns. Very rebellious and prone to sneaking out to do vigilante justice, while doing sick skater tricks.

Kelso - father of the family, previous infiltrator for a terrorist group who eventually broke away and moved his developing family to Canada. Quite the family man, and teaches his kids magic. Just not the dark magic he was forced to learn.

The rest of the characters are  AtlasTheSahuagin, going from left to right:
Jessica - mother of the family, previous psionic superhero who's a huge fan of cosplay and other extremely dorky things. Probably a hover mom, and always tries to get everyone else to embrace the more feral instincts. Still enjoys her family, regardless if they embrace her ideals.

Sophia - learning most of her fashion sense and mannerisms from her father, a mostly introverted telepath who is far more likely to pry into her siblings minds than she'll admit. Very often clashes with Clarice over many, many different things. Enjoys fancy dresses, and probably swing music.

Violet - goth girl of the family and self proclaimed black sheep, quite physically strong and taking the powers of both her mother and father, creating quite the deadly combination. Ironically doesn't rebel as much as Clarice, and constantly bullies Julius for his hobbies. Probably didn't want to be there.

Molly - the family dog. A regular Husky, nothing special, just a dog.
