I daresay we all get tripped up by some version of Checkuary.
Checkuary, n. The thirteenth month of the Gregorian calendar, starting the day after December 31st and ending when one stops writing the previous year on their checks. ~ Sniglets
Also, more relevant to the picture, that is a nicely done image. The sky showing through the foliage definitely contrasts as looking brighter without being overwhelming, and the tree bark, clothes, and hair are finely detailed and looking good. The dog certainly looks pettable.
