Akai's intestines pump the prey's liquified form through the long winding tubes. Peristalsis makes sure the mixture of acid and meat flows smoothly through the shark's tract. Villi lining the walls pull all the necessary nutrients from the thick solution, along with the prey's soul. Piece by piece, they'll all be added to Akai's body irreversibly.
