It is a beast of legend that garnered both respect and fear with the mere cast of its eyes that, at the time of living, were lit with wild flame - fed by a feverish hunger for blood. The brutality of its conquests dyed its claws crimson for all to know. Its fur was once as white as the snow of its lands but now is a charred grey, matted and scuffed... The eyes too have changed. No fire at all but shadowed halls of what they once were. Its people began to grow rebellious of their king as it offered nothing but torment and uncertainty. Collectively they began plotting a means to end it while it lay in slumber one particularly frosty eve. The solution? They poured hot tar over it before dumping its body into the pits outside the kingdom. The yowls released it is said, can still be heard by the descendants of those who were there that night...

What they do not know is that the yowl's are very real and belong to a now vengeful entity.
