This is a small piece I wrote a few months ago, re-made to fit within the competition's guidelines. The song is titled "Stay" because, at the time, my father had recently passed away. All I wanted was for him to be there, or to stay. The chord progression is something I thought of while just messing around on my keyboard, and the song's key is in G major (Not without a few succulent accidentals, of course.) I hope you all take my piece into consideration, but just being apart of the competition fills me with glee. Thank you for the opportunity, friends.
