Rodaph Cannason (born October 20, 3142 in Mannah Nova on Hondali) is the current corporate executive of Iridium Allied Corporation, the largest privately-held and third-largest megacorp in Terran space, and is the current head of the 400-trillion-credit Cannason estate. This currently makes him the 171st wealthiest person in the Omnus Alliance, the 87th wealthiest Terran, the 4th wealthiest corporate executive in Terran space, and within the Terrasian sector is bested in wealth only by the presiding matriarch of Atalia.
A mere five weeks after birth, Rodaph showed signs of hyperintellect, an uncommon but not unusual symptom of psionic immunity, by learning to pronounce his first words. By the time most kids would be learning to talk themselves, Rodaph was already able to read and write at a middle school level and even demonstrated an understanding of high-level mathematics. At age six, he tested straight out of primary and secondary schoolwork and became the youngest ever student at Denford University, one of the toughest and most exclusive schools in Terran space. Twelve years later, he accepted the last applied science certification offered by the university.
On January 9, 3161, while en-route back to the family estate on Cassini III, he watched on a video call as his parents, Draxel Cannason and Masama Chuveras, were murdered in cold blood by a hired assassin. Since then, he’s been tooling up, including the fabrication of his own custom power armor suit, and hiring his own mercenary crew not only to seek justice but to also eradicate the root of the issue: the corruption within the Terran Empire’s government that has an unsettling agenda.
Believe it or not, Rodaph was one of my first ever anthro OCs, first conceived and penned over ten years ago, and really the only changes he's gotten are A: genius intellect as opposed to psionic powers, and B: losing the biological wings in favor of a pair included in some homemade power armor. And yes, his current version is heavily inspired by Iron Man and Batman, at least for the science fantasy setting where I've stuck him in for now. Ever since I finally got a decent income, I've been wanting to get more art done of him, but... well, a couple of other, newer characters got in the way of that. :P
But now I'm happy to say I have a usable modern reference of him!
