Bio: Kazu wasn’t born into some tragic life of a poor family or abusive parents, yet he still went down a dark path. His family life was comfortable, and he was even doing good school, having an interest in the medical field. Around the time he joined middle school, students were forming delinquent groups, meaning lots of bullying occurred and most teachers didn’t do anything about it. Kazu during his first and second year in middle school, was forced into being an errand boy for one of the bigger groups, having to forfeit his allowance and occasionally getting beaten up. His interest in school started to diminish as he didn’t want to go back having to deal with these bastard children. On his final year of middle school he had enough and made that last year memorable… not just for him, but for his entire school as he went after and beat up every single delinquent without mercy. It was a miracle he got into high school after getting marked for all the fighting he did. At age 16 he joined a yankii gang… well more like beat up one and took over. He made sure that they didn’t antagonize anyone and beat the shit out of whoever does, in the school or outside. He gained the interest of a progeny of the Azuma-Kai Yakuza. Kazu joined without hesitation, and did what he was told without fail. Despite joining, he didn’t lose his morality as he took whatever earnings he got and saved it, or gave it to his parents. He would only take on tasks too that wouldn’t require him to harm innocents. Kazu actually started to get back into his interests again after joining, as he was thinking of becoming a surgeon… he even got experience. Stabbings, removing bullets, basic first aid, and etc. he’s done for some of the older members, even getting lessons from a crooked doctor on his days off. By the time he just barely passed high school he got promoted to be fully fledged, even commemorating it with getting a tattoos around his left arm, and going down to his right leg… He stayed with them for a good four years. When he did he lied and said he was joining the workforce to his parents and from there started distancing from them. After four years he didn’t want to be a part of the Yakuza anymore… it wasn’t something easy, but he managed, though getting to a medical school seemed like an impossible task now since he’d need to find a college first, go through four years and so on, but as a final parting gift from the Yakuza, they “helped” give him a college degree so he can start medical school. It was possible with what he had saved, and they even hooked him up with a part time job, investing in his future… with a somewhat ulterior motive to have him be a surgeon they can count on. He knew what would happen but took their offer anyway. After medical school he started his residency, choosing to specialize in cardiothoracic surgery. Kazu is currently sharing an apartment with Makoto Kuze.
Personality: Pretty grumpy and tired from his residency due to the late hours. He’s usually a chill guy, but he has a short fuse whenever someone messes with his friends.
Likes: Video games, working out, martial arts, medicine, anatomy, helping others, all meat dishes, horror and action movies, and he is a little of an audiophile.
Dislikes: Politics, gambling, smoking, anyone who dares to mess with his friends.
Abilities: Same things any Behemoth from a Final Fantasy game can do, including lightning magic and having resistances to most other types of magic and ailments. Lucky for him he rarely gets sick because of it. He also has access to higher level abilities like Meteor and Giga Flare, yet he has had a reason to ever use them.
