Holy freaking moly, Encanto is such a marvelous new Disney film! Lin-Manuel Miranda is a genius songwriter/composer/etc.
Your chibi-fied take on Bruno gives me such aggressive smile-fits! This is adorable and quite honestly, makes me want to watch the Family Madrigal yet again! If not to stare with complete unrestrained affection at Mirabel... such a cutie!!

I am freaking IN LOVE with Encanto so much. I can't pick a favorite anything every thing every song every character is my favorite lol but I am just IN LOVE with how it actually FELT like a musical rather than a movie with musical elements, if that makes sense? Freaking amazing. I got the art book and seeing how much effort and just LOVE they put into it blows me away
But MIRABEL i loved her like, immediately. I don't think I've ever loved a char that fast XD
Awww thank you! i don't like drawing ppl and then I thought of Bruno as a Coati and I couldn't stop myself. Coatis are great. Bruno's great. The whole family Madrigal is coatis now, I say it, coatis live in family groups so there. xD
But MIRABEL i loved her like, immediately. I don't think I've ever loved a char that fast XD

It would warm my heart and excite me tremendously to see a furry-fied version of Family Madrigal, the entire family drawn up as Coatimundis! SO CUTE omg
Ooh, I can only imagine how in-depth and marvelous the Encanto art book must be! If its anything like how the movie looks, then my eyes are in for a real treat! :D
But yes, I certainly identify with the musical approach. I'm very happy they decided to take that step and make those singing moments happen! I am a fan of Disney's finer musical numbers and this latest film certainly didn't disappoint. I can literally hear that climactic harmonization at the end of We Don't Talk About Bruno in my sleep. I'm at work and I'll walk along, whispering "bring it in, bring it in, what else can I do?" to myself. <3 So many enduring classic numbers! And each one serves to further justify the story as a whole, which is another crucial stage musical tactic. One can certainly see how Miranda keeps that Hamilton vibe afloat through this film. Amazing!
