Hey everyone, I decided to try something out of the ordinary for me...dubstep! I don't really know the style too well, so any tips would be helpful. Also feel free to check out my other submissions too, my newest being Loverdroid and Enigma! Also, I know this isn't a complete song, but I want to get an opinion on if it would be worth it to continue making dubstep. Thanks!

He said he uses acidtraxx for dubstep but on fl studio he's only made industrial; he thinks there's alot of dubstep you can do with 9 but he uses 8 and said connecting the lfo to the cut off while using ideas you would normally apply to psy works well together. Probably knew that though, I just got a copy of 8 and am making stuff at home right now so if I learn something new I let you know.
Yes! traxx is fun. I watched him playing with it last night; I want a copy too. I use logic, cube base, reason, FL and my cadence drummer guy from the local catholic church-he's too fast sometimes I'm scared he'll suffer a stroke since he's in his 50s. He's so irreplaceable.
Your comment got me thinking a bit, so I made another little WIP, this time I tried to add a bit more wub to it. It's still probably not all that great, but at least I tried right! lol :P

There's a vst called dblue glitch that can help give you some cool effects. Also be sure to never underestimate the power of 3xOsc, its a default synth in FL, it is actually an INCREDIBLY powerful synth when used correctly, when you use it just remember that its all in the effects. I might continue this track someday, but my main thing is trance and techno, you should go have a look! ^_^ Oh and also if you use Steam, be sure to check out a game called Beat Hazard, some of my music is featured in it. Have fun with FL, it's a great program!
