I was slowly coming to as I saw myself lying in a comfy hospital bed in what looked to be a nursery...or at least, as much as I could see of myself given my belly blocking quite a bit of my view. It was only mere seconds later that I saw Alyx walk in with a tray of tea and set it down bedside. They pulled up a chair and started pouring the tea for me and asked, “You okay? That was quite a sudden fall you had there.”
I only responded to them with a singular nod. As soon as they finished pouring, they handed the cup and saucer to me. I elected to drink it immediately only to realize that it was my favorite type of tea, chrysanthemum! It was probably the most refreshing palate of tea I’ve ever had! How did they make it taste so much better than I could ever brew? I’m jealous!
They then poured a cup for themselves and looked at me with very concerned eyes. “You seem like someone who’s had it very rough for quite a while now. I can see it in your body expression and your eyes. If you’d like someone to talk your woes to, I’m all ears, but I’m at the same time, I’m going to also say that you don’t need to say anything if you don’t want to.”
I might’ve felt very comfortable with Alyx by my side, but having to think about all the stress and woes I’ve dealt with in the past week overwhelmed me so much that I ended up breaking down in tears. The death of my husband, the business, and of course my baby. I could feel the weight of all three pushing down on me.
And then once again, the unexpected happened. I suddenly felt the fluffiest embrace I’ve ever felt as I felt Alyx’s cheek press against mine as they hugged me...in the best way that they could given their massive pregnancy. It was such an awkward position that our bellies were actually forced to make contact during this.
“It’s okay. I know it’s hard to dredge up those painful moments in your life, especially if they come up all at once. Just let those feelings out and let me provide you with as much comfort as I can...”
Their warmth was indeed very comforting and actually helped a lot more than I expected. It’s as if they had some sort of healing aura to them that’s making me feel calmer. It’s...familiar somehow?
Suddenly another sharp pain hit my head as I dropped the empty cup and saucer and it fell onto the carpeted floor below. Another split second flash appeared in my mind, but this one seemed to have a negative space that almost presented itself as an image of a child hugging a non-anthropomorphic dragon. It was strange, but I didn’t know what that could possibly mean.
At the very least this time I didn’t fall unconscious and Alyx, still looking at me with concern, seemed to be deep in thought before they took a deep breath and cracked their knuckles. They looked determined now as they were now looking directly at my belly and said, “Please don’t be alarmed with what I’m about to do. But I think you might need some extra help to feel better.”
I was too dazed post mental flash to comprehend what they actually meant by that, but suddenly I felt my cheeks flush hotly as before I had time to comprehend it, Alyx pulled up my shirt and exposed my pregnant belly out in the open. Before I could find it in me to protest, the fluffy dragon put their hands on my belly and...yeah I don’t remember what happened after that. All I could remember was feeling absolutely blissful as their hands were massaging away at my belly... or at least I think that’s what they were doing.

Zielregen featuring my never before seen character, Cindy! I say never before since she was in my character folder since 2017.
There were some indecisiveness from my part in where her backstory should be heading. At some point it was even grimmer if you could believe that from my content. Nevertheless, it was fun drawing them and giving Cindy a chance!
