Yeah, I know that :] But as I explained (or tried to explain) in another comment below, I just took Shigeru's presence in the comic as a generalized thing rather than exact information, so his appearance here didn't really bother me.

I forget who mainly directs Metroid games these days, but I know that Shiggie at very least has a development role in them of some sort. I really really want them to pick up after Fusion because you got a lot of loose ends to deal with, especially with the Federation when it turned out they were cloning Metroids behind Samus' back.
But Other M does explore Adam a lot more, and I think getting to know Adam, the real person is important in getting to know the Adam AI that bossed around Samus in Fusion and I think by now they have more than enough backstory setup to continue on from Fusion.

I'd start banking money on a sequel after Fusion at this point. Nintendo pretty much has expanded enough on the backstory of Samus and those around her to the point that anything else is unnecessary X^D
Perhaps an interesting thing in all this is the vaporware known as 'Metroid Dread' which Nintendo refuses to say is cancelled at all. In fact, as recently as this May, NoA staff had access to the game's story and said it can be called into development at any time. Could this be Metroid V?

you know whats funny. I just recently learned that it was Shiggy's face they used on that horrid Link Clone in Majoras Mask. you know the really fucking creepy one *shudder* i always wondered why it looked liek that and then blam Easter Egg durrr hahah seriously Fleece you should make another of this image only make shiggy's face more like that creepy doll thing it would make it more epic!
