At long last, I have finally worked up the balls to start drawing the predecessor to Ziggy. Yes. Everyone's favorite little fluffball came from a big scruffy wolf

Maxwell McBloatis, or Big Max, to his friends, was a character originally designed for nexxuschat.com, as my roleplay character. He's gone through a lot of changes over the years. He's gone through a number of name changes, appearance changes and ability changes. But I've finally settled on a version of him that works.

As I said before, Big Max is the predecessor to Ziggy, as a number of his abilities and elements of his background were copied from him. They're both students, although Max is just an average college student, and knows no magic. They're both overweight and heavy eaters, their clothes are similar, and most importantly, they've both got the ability to inflate. Due to some kinks and details I want to touch up, however, you won't see Max take to the sky for some time. If you want to see it in action, I still take Max out for a spin at Nexxuschat and other such roleplays for my friends. So you might be able to see him in action if you get on my good side :p

Like I mentioned before, Max is a student at an art college. He's a bit of a surfer boy, and it shows in his mellow personality and how he speaks. Apart from his inflatability, he's just an average fur who just seems to get in a lot of crazy adventures. He has a part time job in a balloon warehouse with a friend, if you need an example of what I mean. :p

Expect to see him around when I'm not feeling whimsical enough to draw Ziggys antics
