As stated before, Mei-Zhen was trained in martial arts by her father at the age of 12. As she grew older, she continued to hone her skills through constant training every week. By the time she had Mei-Lia, she was at a level where she even surpassed her own father, who was renowned for being one of the best fighters.

She doesn't wear this outfit as often anymore now that she's got a family, only when she's doing some martial arts training. But she has been known to wear this when confronting those who threaten her loved ones, be it her friends or her daughter.

Mei-Zhen wields a pair of nunchakus, which she uses with decent proficiency. She's had them since she was a teenager and is never afraid to use them if she has to.
