another design ideas for Corona. Was trying to play off that whole Solar Eclips look by trying ti make sort of the core of her clothing darker and then gets lighter on her limbs, if/when i draw her again im gonna play with the idea some more.
Thouse little things on the sides are just little designs for her eyes and her ear rings.
Her eyes also have dark centers and very light out lines, also she only has one shiny spot on each eye, its suppose to be kinda like when an eclipse is nearing the end and you see that one really bright spot

To me, it looks even more generic, right now. In the first draft, her hair went off to the side, which was something I liked; now, with the shorter hair, it's only going straight down, and I don't find the design of her hair as interesting (sorry to be so brutally honest, R). I know opinions vary from person to person, but I do feel the hair looked better when it was a tad longer.
I don't think either is actually more unique than the other, I've seen a number of anime characters like that already. Besides, a rebel hairdo with outward spikes doesn't match the overall character, not to mention that even on the other pic you suggested to make it even longer, and anime girls with long light blue hair have been done to death already.
well the only reason i changed her hair is cuz that back part in the first pic was based on Aqua from kingdom hearts, and her top is based on Aqua also, so i wanted to mix it up so i didnt lean too much on the Aqua character, but these are just the first drawings so any thing is possable
I like it but if your going for solar eclipse type of theme why not make it so you get that idea. one idea I got from looking at her would be to make her hair kind of blend if not look like one color was trying to overlap the other but that may include making her hair longer.
As well I like the earrings but it kind of looks more like a dark sun, like Disgaea 2 dark sun....Actually that would be a awsome set of earrings.
