Yeah, thank you social networks for giving thousands of depressed teenagers a direct line to the entire world, we really needed that.

Yeah, and our Abnormal Psych class just watched a video of actual depressed people; and makes me a little irritable with those broken-hearted ones, who say they can't go on living. The clinical depressive group has got it pretty worse off than them.

I'd say if you have a computer, internet access and enough time on your hands to whine about your life, things could be much worse. I mean, I dont see survivers of natural desasters whining on facebook.

It's okay to have bad days, depressed moods and all that, just dont act like everyone else should give a flying fuck about it. Thats my opinion. Now if youre suffering from real depression, thats another story.

Quite right. I've met a few people who've had their house blown down by Katrina. They don't go whining to Facebook when insurance doesn't cover their houses and leaves them homeless.

Im'a quit ranting now, myself. This just really relates to me at this point in my life, scary. :P

The best humor IS simple. It points out the 'elephant in the room' that everyone else has been politely ignoring or that the Emperor's New Clothes that everyone "sees" and admires are imaginary. I humbly submit that there are a lot of "elephants" in Furry and certainly more than enough self-inflated notables wearing those "New Clothes".

The outward task of the court jester was to make the king laugh, but the more important inward task of the court jester was to reveal the king's short-comings to him when no one else would.

So if by creating and posting this comic you keep one drama queen from battering our ears & eyes with another on-line self-pitying sob story you then do indeed deserve high praise, D&N.

I actually posted something not so long ago regarding this type of behavior. The most significant reason of why they perceive that their life is bad is due to their constant negative thinking/(own created)environment. Cracking a smile and saying something nice and positive for a change goes a long way.
