I'm glad you're posting these.
I'd love to see you post those you did on the old 2-sence so we can hear them without the music in the background, which sometimes held the same tones as your voice and drowned out the British goodness.

If I may ask what geological area you're from? I've heard that Brits can tell where eachother are from by their accent and sometimes verbage. I could likely not mimic it but I'm a passable accent sponge, and can do a High and lowlands scotts, some british, Austrailian and a few differant Southern US accents, and do them well, according to a few friends I've RP'ed with.

I'm from the southeast of England, Kent to be exact :)
Though I'm told the years of private education have given me a somewhat "posh" accent XD

I may upload the old segments (i've still got most of them backed up somewhere) but I was never really very happy with how they came out, sooo maybe not,... though I am going to be re-recording "The Raven" at some point soon and when I find the time, I've got a small audiobook project which I'll be posting online too :)

Thank you Garr, thank you. I am embarrassed to call myself an American. I don't even watch the news because I fear what I'm going to hear that this nation does next is going to make cry and feel so shameful.

I try not to think about it and I know that, in a sense, isn't helpful either or healthy living with your head down a hole; but I just want to be myself and be passionate about love and art. I know it's not right, hell, I voted for the other guy....I just wish this never happened. *sighs*

I've spent most of my life studying history and and philosophy from all over the world, and on my travels I've seen a great deal of stuff first hand,. when I watch the news I'm not sure what depresses me more, the horrors and insanity that's playing out, or the knowledge that it's just the same old crap that's been playing out for thousands of years, over and over again,.. the same lies, the strategy, the same old fears desires and hopes,.. the same old thing dressed up in new clothes and we are told that it's new and this is the first time such a thing has ever happened,.. we are told that while they are literally fighting in the ruins of their predecessors,...
It's all been done before and it's all going to happen again,... That's what gets to me the most, the tedious, numbing, inevitability of it all.

That's true as far as it goes, but due to the transitory nature of human knowledge it makes properly learning from history impossible,. the most that can be achieved is to forestall the inevitable,. but isn't that the way with all things?
