If Demi can keep himself calm, maybe draw his breath in and hold it for a minute then maybe Shadow Beast can concentrate and focus all his effort and maybe manage to enlarge the portal a little allowing Demi to wriggle free. Though I imagine it might be nosebleed time after that.
