I should be working on commissions right now, but i'm in a super fantastic costume-making mode... which is a mode of operation i've been neglecting for too long. So i've been working on Sine - at least getting a good start for once!
Professional fursuit makers will condemn me as a heretic for my methods, but i do what is within my means... which means i patch together garbage until it resembles the shape i'm aiming for.
Anyway... obviously this head is far from finished... pardon the temporary ears, temporary nose, temp. eyes, uncovered holes, lack of lips, etc.
Still got a lot of work to do, but i think the shape looks pretty swell. It could pass for a hyena head, i reckon!

Seriously I think it helps tremendously to build a dummy head first, thank way you can bang out the actual symetry without wasting supplies like foam to figure it out. You got Hyena head shape down for sure! I can't wait to see you work on this more. Did you buy the jaw set from Van Dykes or cast it yourself?
