Detective Winters was discovered by a rather unique client who plucked him out of his mundane life, an organization known as, E.D.G.E. He still wonders how he is still alive despite the numerous Anomalous Creatures he's interacted with time and time again. He of all people would know why they give out PTO so freely or pay that is worth to kill for. The A.I awaited his response as he took a long drag from the cigarette, the facility looming ahead. Everything was still. A moment of peace found him, but it was only a fleeting moment as exhaled.

"I decline to schedule my PTO." he put out his peacekeeper and tossed it in a nearby receptacle.

"VERY WELL DETECTIVE WINTERS HAVE A NICE DAY!"

(Yes E.D.G.E is heavily inspired from SCP however I found that it is an easy *cough* lazy *cough* and flexible way to incorporate characters that are not "normal" like ravenous computer viruses who have the hots for this detective, A demon, hyena, jester; sentient, goo-creatures, and more.
